Keyser, WV- Potomac State and Harford have had some epic matchups over the years and Saturday at Golden Park was no different.

Golden Park played host to another intense pair of games with Harford picking up the sweep. In two hard-fought games, Harford came away with the sweep by the scores of 4-3 and 14-8.  

This rivalry brought everything you'd want—late-game drama, momentum swings, and individual brilliance. The series reminded fans why Harford and Potomac State's matchups are always ones to circle on the calendar in Region 20.


Game 1: Harford Edges Potomac State 4–3

Harford held off a late rally to take the opener 4–3 in a gritty, low-scoring affair. Behind a dominant start from Ryan Garcia (5.2 IP, 0 ER) and clutch hitting from Frank Adamski (4-for-5, 2 RBI, 2 doubles), Harford built a 3–0 lead heading into the seventh.

Potomac State came storming back in the bottom of the seventh. Jordan Canby's RBI double and a 2-RBI double from Lex Wescott tied it up at 3–3.

Harford answered back as Adamski struck again in the top of the eighth with a go-ahead RBI double, and Titus Shay slammed the door for the win.

Game 2: Harford Overpowers Potomac State in 14–8

The nightcap was a completely different story. Offense was the name of the game, and Harford brought plenty of it, exploding for 14 runs on 16 hits in a 14–8 victory.

It was another standout showing from Frank Adamski, who went 2-for-2 with 4 RBI, 2 doubles, and 3 walks. Right fielder Keldrin Rodriguez added 4 RBI of his own, while Jeremy Reyes scored 4 times. Harford poured it on early, posting 8 runs in the first two innings.

Potomac State battled back with a 4-run third inning, powered by a 3-RBI triple from Ryan Conrad, and a solo home run by Reilly Bubb in the fourth to tie it 8–8. But Harford pulled away with a late 4-run seventh to put it out of reach.
