Catamounts claim seventh in row with road sweep

Harrisonburg, VA- Potomac State pushed their win streak to seven with a doubleheader over Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday afternoon.
 
In the opener, Ryan Conrad drove in three runs with a single and triple.  Chris Harbert and Tanner Haskiell each added a pair of hits as PSC rolled to a 9-1 win.  
 
Carson Boober drove in a pair of runs with a sacrifice fly and a single.
 
Four Catamount pitchers combined to allow just a lone run and a single hit. 
 
Landon Johnson started and picked up the win with two innings of pre-determined work. 
 
Following Johnson, Aidan Sites, Jake Compton and Evan Jenkins all combined to allow no runs and no hits.
 
In game two, three Potomac State pitchers combined to allow just two hits and complete the 6-0 shutout.
  
Gavin Bennett worked the first three innings, striking out four, walking one and surrendering just a lone infield single to pick up his first win. 
Jayden Lester worked the fourth inning, striking out two.
 
Carson Boober picked up the save with three innings of work to close out the game.  Boober struck out two and walked just one. 
 
Jordan Canby paced the PSC 11-hit attack with three hits and two runs batted in. 
 
Conrad and Braden Sloan each added two hits.
 
PSC now 8-6 will be home for four games this weekend, with a pair of games on Saturday versus Cecil College and again on Sunday when PSC hosts Marietta College at Golden Park.
