Catamounts sweep road twin bill over Eastern Mennonite

Harrisonburg, VA- A pair of strong starts from Diego Barrett and Ben McDougal lifted Potomac State to a pair of wins on Tuesday over Eastern Mennonite.

In the opener, Barrett struck out eight and did not allow a hit, and Owen Keim and Brady Whitacre worked the final two innings to pin down the 8-4 win.

Dakota Miller led the PSC attack with a double, triple and three runs batted in. Kris Sutton added three hits and an RBI.

In game two, McDougal struck out eleven in five innings of work and allowed four hits.  Koice Quintanilla worked the final inning in the run-ruled shortened 15-2 win.

Miller and Zach Brennen each drove in three runs.  Miller had a home run, triple and a sacrifice fly, while Brennan cleared the bases with a double in the fifth inning.

Nik Rubendall continued his hot streak with three hits and a pair of runs batted in.  Morgan Little and Jimmy Sadler each added two hits.
