Potomac State baseball sophomore Dakota Miller has showed his dominance at the plate this season, earning him this week's NJCAA baseball Division I Player of the Week honors. Miller helped his team to a 8-0 record on the week of all road games. He finished the week with a .551 AVG, 5 HR, and 17 RBIs to recieve the week 9 Player of the Week.
Miller started the week with a DH against Eastern Mennonite University. He went 2-4 in game 1 with 1 run. He doubled and tripled once bringing in 3 RBIs. Game 2 he hit a homerun with 3RBIs, 3 runs, and a triple. The Catamounts then traveled to Garrett College for a DH. Miller went 5-7 on the day with 4 runs and doubled twice. He homered in game 2 and had 2 RBIs. They then played 4 games in two days; a DH at CCBC Catonsville and a DH at DI oppenent Hagerstown Community College the next day. At Catonsville, Miller had 4 runs, 3 HRs, and 6 RBIs. The next day at HCC, her had 3 runs, doubled and tripled onced and drove in 3 RBIs.
Miller has been a huge part of the Catamounts success this season. On the year He has a batting average of .303, 9 HRs, 38 RBIs, 38 runs, and 5 stolen bases.
