Bel Air, MD- Josh Hoffman's walk off grand slam in the fifth inning provided the runs needed to end the opening game of the Region 20 as Potomac State downed Hagerstown 11-0.

With the win Potomac State now advances to the Region 20 Championship with Harford Community College setting up a best-of-three series for the title.

Harford ended Hagerstown's season with an 8-5 win in game two.

Rob Kelley picked up the complete game win to improve to 5-2.  Kelley struck out four and allowed just two hits.  Hagerstown threatened in the third inning loading the bases on a pair of hits by Cody Brick and Rhoan Bromfield and a walk to T.J. Kalagher.  But Kelley was able to induce a double play to shortstop Trevor Thomas, who stepped on the bag and threw to first to complete the twin killing.

PSC got on the board in the third when Thomas led off with a double and later scored on an infield hit from Chance Satcho.  They added two more runs on a fielder's choice off the bat of Caleb Taylor in which Hagerstown was unable to complete their own double play.

In the fifth, a six-run inning ended the game early via the 10 run-rule.

Singles from Dakota Miller and Anthony Swenda set the table for a two-run double from Clay Maholic and an RBI double from Morgan Little made the score 7-0.

A Hit-by-pitch and walk loaded the bases for Hoffman, who ended the game with a long home run to left field.

Game three of the Region 20 tournament is set to begin at noon on Monday.  Game four will begin at 3:00 p.m.  If necessary, game five will be played on Tuesday at noon.
