Baseball: Houser leads Potomac State past St. Clair County

Keyser, WV- Freshman Dale Houser drove in five runs leading Potomac State to an 18-8 win over St. Clair County Community College on Sunday.

Houser, making his first start of the season had a single double and triple as PSC racked out sixteen hits in the game.

Austin Chavis and Hayden Almond each drove in two runs, and PSC also got RBI’s from Austin Martin, Trent Robison and Cole Miller.

Brett Whiteman worked four innings to pick up his first win of the season.  The sophomore right-hander allowed just a single hit while striking out six. 

Nathan Kerr, Andrew Liller and Abe Stearns combined on the mound for the final three innings.

Potomac State, now 7-4 will play again on Wednesday for a pair of games at the University of Charleston.
