Baseball: Potomac State breezes past St. Clair County 25-2

Keyser, WV- With a series of hot bats, Potomac State banged out a season-high seventeen hits en route to a 25-2 win over St. Clair County Community College Saturday afternoon at Golden Park.

Three different Catamounts drove in four runs apiece to pace the offensive attack.  Austin Chavis, Joel Spishock and Pete Costigan combined for 12 RBI’s.  Chavis was 4-5 with three doubles and a single, while Costigan homered and doubled twice.

Tobias Holmelund also went deep, his first of the year for PSC.

On the day the Catamounts took advantage of thirteen SC4 walks. 

Colt Webb picked up the win with five innings of work.  The sophomore struck out six and allowed just one run.  Foster Conis worked the final two innings for PSC.

Potomac State, 6-4 will host the Skippers again on Sunday for a single game at noon.
