Keyser, WV – Potomac State’s Colt Webb was masterful, but in the end Harford’s grit was too much as the Owls used a four run ninth inning highlighted by an RBI triple by Nehemiah Wright to pull away and win 6-2 at Golden Park on Wednesday.

Spencer Smith knocked in a pair of runs for Harford and scored a run, while Wright and Matthew Shilling both had two hits. Spencer Harbert doubled

For Potomac State, Joel Spishock hit a solo home run, while Austin Chavis knocked in the other Catamount run on a sacrifice fly.

Harford starter Mike Taylor allowed just one earned run, two total, and five hits in 5.2 innings of work.

Webb struck out a school-record 21 Harford hitters in 8 2/3 innings of work.

Potomac State scored single runs in the fourth and the fifth but was kept off the board the rest of the way.

Harford now stands at 40-5 on the season.

Potomac State (28-7) will play Community College of Rhode Island and CCBC Catonsville Saturday at Catonsville.
