Potomac State shuts out Garrett to end regular season

Keyser, WV- Potomac State scored runs in bunches as they rolled past Garrett College 16-0 Sunday afternoon at Golden Park.

Austin Martin hit a solo home run and Austin Chavis hit a three-run home for the Catamounts. 

Hayden Almond went 2-2, while Juwuan Weaver had a two-run double.

Pete Costigan drove in three runs with a pair of hits, while Tobias Holmelund drove in a pair with a double.

Brandon Schaeffer picked up the win on the mound improving to 5-1.  The southpaw worked four innings and struck out ten of the 15 hitters he faced. 

Foster Conis and Tyler Bradford worked the final three innings of scoreless baseball.

Potomac State finishes the regular season 29-9 and will host the Divison 1 Region XX Tournamnet at Golden Park beginning on Friday.
