Despite a strong attack by the Catamounts, women's soccer fell short facing Howard Community College on Thursday. The chances were fairly balanced between the two sides, with the Catamounts taking 10 shots and the Dragons taking 9.  The Catamounts had the clear advantage in corner kicks with 10 to Howard's four.  Howard struck first in the 16th minute and followed that up in the 69th.  Morgan Pyles put a goal away for the Catamounts in the 88th minute, her fourth in three games.  The team continued to press hard in the final seconds of the game but were unable to convert their chances to an equalizer. 

The Catamounts are back in action on Saturday, September 9th against College of Southern Maryland at noon.
