Howard jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on Destiny Denton's goal just seven minutes into the match, but Maggie Slocum answered with a goal to tie it for the Catamounts in the 14th minute.
 
The Dragons regained the lead in the 26th minute when Molly Nichols finished Jaylene Sotelo's assist to make it 2-1 and tha's how it would stay going into the half.
 
Taylor Kirk tied the match off an assist from Allysen Miller with 13 minutes remaining in the game.
 
Casey Boin's assist of of Jaylene Sotelo's assist second gave Howard a 3-2 advantage seven minutes into left to play and proved to be the match-winner.

Kelsey O'Neal and Nevaeh Hamborsky shared time in net and combined with four saves in the Catamounts loss.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
