Potomac State Sophomore Foward Chelcie Forrester's record night earned her week 8 NJCAA DII Women's Player of the Week. Forrester finished the week with 12 rebounds and 43 points in one game against Allegany College of Maryland. The Catamounts won in OT thanks to 25 points combined in the 4th quarter and overtime from Forrester. Chelcie has proven to be key player for the Catamounts this season averaging 17.5 ppg and 10.9 rpg. She has a FG% of 52.7 and is 82.4% from the free throw line.

The Catamounts return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Montgomery College for a Region 20 matchup with the Raptors before returning home on 31st when they face off with Harford Community College. Tip-off for both games is scheduled for 1:30 p.m and 5:00 p.m.
