Catamounts battle on tough course

The Catamounts traveled to Winchester, Virginia for a race held at Kernstown Battlefield. The course was challenging for the Catatmounts, with several climbs they had to traverse. In the women's race, Addison Lease was the top finisher for the Catamounts, crossing the finish line in 11th place overall with a time of 20:55.4.  The remaining Catamounts were as follows: Baylee Jarrett (20th), Phaedra Payne (27th), Averi Everline (31st), Leah McKenzie (36th), Hannah Hardy (38th), Gabriella Baker (39th), Sarah Lasko (43rd), and Morgan Niland (45th).  Overall the women's team finished 4th with 89 points. 

The men's team finished 5th with 124 points.  Griffin Paugh again led the Catamounts, finishing in 23rd overall with a time of 21:28.2.  Additional points earned from William Boddy (39th), Logan Hetrick (40th), Emmett Slayman (48th) and Daykota Hartley (49th). 

The Catamounts will head to Penn State Fayette on the 28th of September for their next race.
