The WVU Potomac State Men's Cross Country Team came prepared to give it their all as individuals, but would not be competing as a team in the first test of the year. The Catamounts ran strong first races putting in a valiant effort, with Wyatt Gray leading the way. Gray was pacing with the top 10 most of the race but fell back due to cramping in the later stages. Gray finished up the race in 21:55, followed by Isaiah Wharton in 22:04 and Carl Njoroge in 24:54.
