In the battle of the mountain cats (Cougars vs Catamounts), the final result ended in a tie.  The first half finished scoreless but that wouldn't last long.  A mere 47 seconds into the second half, the Cougars found the back of the net.  The Catamounts quickly answered with a goal from Edwin Gonzalez in the 59th minute.  The physical play between the two teams continued throughout the second half but in the end, neither team could put away a 2nd goal for the win.  The Catamounts recorded 22 shots in the contest and Eathan Ashenfelter recorded 6 saves in the full 90 minutes. 

Up next for the Catamounts, they take on the College of Southern Maryland on Sunday the 17th in another Region 20 contest.
