NJCAA Region 20 officials announced the All-Region 20 men's soccer teams on Thursday.  Four members of the WVU Potomac State soccer team were recognized with All-Region 20 Division II honors.

Freshman goalkeeper Timmy Bailey was named to the First Team. Freshman forwards Jacob Ritchie and Noah Stanley were named to the Second Team and sophomore defender Will Speis received Honorable Mention.

"Congratulations to our hardworking student-athletes on the remarkable honor," said Jo Ann Rogers, Prince George's Community College Athletic Director and Region 20 Executive Committee Chair. "And thank you to our coaches and soccer committee for selecting such a deserving group of student-athletes."

Bailey played and started all 15 games of the 2021 season, logging 1310 minutes in goal.  Bailey racked up 99 saves and 3 shut outs on the season and recorded a .717 save percentage.

Ritchie led the way in goal scoring this year for the Catamounts, finding the back of the net 7 times in 13 games, with over 60% of his shots being on goal.  Ritchie also tallied 2 assists on the season.

Stanley started in 14 out of the 15 games this season and played a myriad of positions.  Stanley gained respect in Region 20 for his speed and tenacity on the field, fighting for the Catamounts in any position he was played in.

Speis was the captain of the Catamounts and one of 4 sophomores.  Speis ran the back line for Potomac State and started all 14 games he played in.
