Johnson, Catamounts rout Westmoreland

Juliyen Johnson poured in a game-high 33 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to lift Potomac State to a 108-67 victory over Westmoreland County Community College at Lough Gym, Saturday afternoon.

The Catamounts started the game strong scoring 24 unanswered points and taking an early 31-9 lead.

Richard Law dished out a game-high seven assists to pair with 24 points and two boards for the Catamounts, and Tre' Segar added 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Johnson shot 12-15 and Law knocked down 6 of his 11 3-point attempts to help the Catamounts cruise to victory.

Potomac State shot 21-36 from the field in the first half to take a 64-35 lead into the break. The Catamounts didn't let up in the second half and continued to increase their lead. Ten different Catamounts scored points in the game, with 51 points coming from the bench.

Later in the half, Johnson made two free throws with just 22 seconds left to play to give Potomac State its largest lead of 43 to all but seal it.

Jose Rosario scored a team-high 21 points and snatched 5 rebounds for the Wolfpack. William Toye provided 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
