Potomac wins 10th in row

KEYSER, W.Va. — Leondre Rogers and Cortney Walton had 15 points apiece and Potomac State used 35 second-quarter points to pull away from Pitt-Titusville, 110-62, in junior college men's basketball Saturday afternoon.

The Catamounts led 23-22 at the end of the first quarter before winning the second period 35-17. Walton led the way in the second with seven points, giving him 15 points by the halftime break. Dino Noe and Calvin Wilder had six points each in the quarter and both finished in double figures with 14 and 10, respectively.

Potomac State, which led 87-51 entering the fourth, had five players finish in double-digits and three players with eight points. Colin Smith knocked down four three-pointers to finish with 12 points. James Moore, Ramone Williams and Breland Walton had eight apiece. Williams grabbed six rebounds, Rogers dished out a team-high seven assists and Wilder finished with six assists and five boards.
