Mark Sprouse returns to Potomac State College as Assistant Coach for the 2019 season following a two-year hiatus. From 2002 to 2016 Sprouse stood at the helm of the PSC Women’s Soccer program. During his tenure as Head Coach, Sprouse amassed a record of 114 wins, 59 losses and 8 draws establishing himself as the winningest soccer coach in Potomac State’s history. Under his tutelage, the Lady Catamounts had an undefeated regular season in 2012 and played in the Region XX Championship game in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Coach Sprouse has experience coaching soccer at all levels. He has been awarded Conference and Regional “Coach of the Year” honors during his time as a high school soccer coach.

Coach Sprouse holds two master’s degrees from West Virginia University; one in Special Education and the other in Educational Leadership. He is employed as a Behavior Specialist and Special Education Facilitator with the Allegany County Public School System in Maryland. Coach Sprouse resides near Keyser, WV with his wife, Christine. All three of their children attended Potomac State College.
