Leighty Delivers Four Hits To Potomac State College Victory Over College Of Southern Maryland

Four hits from Allison Leighty helped lead the way for Potomac State College over College Of Southern Maryland 14-2 on Saturday. Leighty singled in the first, tripled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

Potomac State College grabbed an early lead. Potomac State College scored on a single by Josie Deneen and a single by Taylor Townsend in the first inning.

Potomac State College notched seven runs in the third inning. Shyann FarrisLeightyDeneen, and Townsend each had RBIs in the big inning.

Farris was the winning pitcher for Potomac State College. She surrendered two runs on six hits over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Skyler Clark took the loss for College Of Southern Maryland. She went three and a third innings, allowing ten runs on 14 hits and striking out four.
