Four hits from Allison Leighty helped lead the way for Potomac State College over College Of Southern Maryland 14-2 on Saturday. Leighty singled in the first, tripled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

Potomac State College grabbed an early lead. Potomac State College scored on a single by Josie Deneen and a single by Taylor Townsend in the first inning.

Potomac State College notched seven runs in the third inning. Shyann Farris, Leighty, Deneen, and Townsend each had RBIs in the big inning.

Farris was the winning pitcher for Potomac State College. She surrendered two runs on six hits over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Skyler Clark took the loss for College Of Southern Maryland. She went three and a third innings, allowing ten runs on 14 hits and striking out four.

Potomac State College socked one home run on the day. Townsend went for the long ball in the third inning.

Potomac State College had 19 hits in the game. Deneen, Leighty, Townsend, Farris, Katlyn Rasnake, and Halei Johnson all managed multiple hits for Potomac State College. Leighty and Deneen each collected four hits to lead Potomac State College. Potomac State College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Camryn Blacka had the most chances in the field with eight.

College Of Southern Maryland totaled six hits in the game. Rachel Polk and Alyss Cage all had multiple hits for College Of Southern Maryland.
