WVU Potomac State (2-1) traveled to Columbia, MD on Wednesday, August 30th to face the Howard CC Dragons (1-2).

Set 1 was a close match between both teams, with both teams recording 10 kills and the Catamounts came out on top 25-21. Howard would take Set 2 25-14 after the Catamounts recored 11 errors. Set 3 would once again be a close match for both teams as the Catamounts took a 2-1 lead after winning the set 25-20. With the game on the line, Potomac State would record 16 kills to only 7 kills in route to winning the set 25-19 and the game 3-1.

Brinlee Harris led the attack with 14 kills. Emonie Fennel added 11 kills and Kamryn Feehan recorded 39 assists in the win. Fennel led the team in digs with 11, alongside Jillian Britton with 11 digs and both Kaitlin Heavener and Madison Mathias recorded 10 digs.

The Catamounts will be back in action on August 31st at home against the Wolfpack of Westmoreland County CC.
