NJCAA Region 20 officials announced the All-Region 20 women’s soccer teams on Thursday.  Two members of the WVU Potomac State soccer team were recognized with All-Region 20 Division II honors.

Sophomore midfielder Cassidy Wallace received First Team honors and Sophomore forward Nicole McManamay received Honorable Mention.

“Congratulations to our hardworking student-athletes on the remarkable honor,” said Jo Ann Rogers, Prince George’s Community College Athletic Director and Region 20 Executive Committee Chair. “And thank you to our coaches and soccer committee for selecting such a deserving group of student-athletes.”

Wallace has been a leader for the Catamounts program in both her freshman and sophomore seasons, earning First Team All-Region in 2020 and now again in 2021.  Wallace notched 4 goals and an assist in 11 games.

On top of receiving First Team All-Region in her freshman year, McManamay received All-Region Honorable Mention in the 2021 season for her 6 goals and 3 assists for the Catamounts.  Playing in all 14 contests and starting 12, McManamay racked up 34 shots, 21 of which were on goal resulting in a 61% shot on goal percentage.
