Unbeaten PSC routs Pitt-Titusville

Walton, Wilder lead 98-58 romp for 11-0 Catamounts; women win by 37

TITUSVILLE — Cortney Walton and Calvin Wilder combined for 41 points and No. 8 Potomac State had little difficulty with Pitt-Tutusville, remaining unbeaten with a 98-58 rout Saturday afternoon in junior college men’s basketball.

Walton finished with 21 points and Wilder 20 for Potomac State (11-0), which led 49-30 at halftime. Ramone Williams finished with 16 points and Camden White and Dino Noe eight each as a dozen Catamounts scored.

Hysheem Robinson had a game-high 22 points for Pitt-Titusville (2-14). 

It was Potomac State’s first game in more than a month. The Cats play again tonight at Pennsylvania Highlands in Johnstown.

TITUSVILLE, Pa. — Johnee Durham poured in 28 points and led five scorers in double figures as Potomac State cruised past Pitt-Titusville 93-56 in junior college women’s basketball Saturday afternoon. 

Durham made 10 field goals and 5 of 8 free throws, and also had four steals, in Potomac State’s first game since the holiday break. Tyesha Taylor added 13 points, Ashley Arndt 12, Mackenzie Hartman 11 and Bethany Arndt 10. Hartman also had a team-high seven rebounds.

Alexandria Miller made five three-point goals and had a game-high 31 points for Titusville (0-13).

Potomac State (9-3) plays again Wednesday, 5 p.m., at Garrett College.
