Shoemaker helped the Catamounts to a 19-1 record in the month of April with a .639 average and 1.328 slugging percentage. She cranked out 39 hits – including nine doubles and 11 home runs—with 39 RBI.  She recorded 13 multiple-hit games and stole five bases in the month.
