FEBRUARY 15, 2019, KEYSER, WV -- Ethan Patrick joins the West Virginia University Potomac State College Catamounts as the new head men's soccer coach in preparation for the 2019 fall season. Most recently he served as an assistant soccer coach at both Marywood University (NCAA DIII), in Scranton, Pa. and Richard Bland College (NJCAA DI), in Petersburg, Va.

Along with his assistant coaching positions, Patrick has been highly involved with youth soccer including Scranton's Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association Under 12 Boys Olympic Development Program team, Electric City Shock Jr. Football Club, Triboro Youth Soccer Club, the Junior High Blue Devils at Old Forge Middle School, and the Richmond Strikers.

Coach Patrick graduated from Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Scranton, Pa., in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education which helped earn him international experience as a physical education teacher in Puebla, Mexico; Shenzhen, China; and Paramaribo, Suriname. He also held the position of athletic director in Suriname.

After three years of international experience, Patrick elected to return to the Scranton area to begin focusing on a career in coaching soccer, which is when he took his first collegiate position as assistant coach at Marywood University.  Since then, he has worked to gain coaching licenses through the United States Soccer Federation, where he currently holds a "D" license, and through United Soccer Coaches, where he holds his Advanced National Diploma and Goal Keeping Level II diploma.

Ethan resides with his wife, Kimberly, in LaVale, Md., and is currently in the process of recruiting a full team for the 2019 fall season.
