The WVU Potomac State College Catamount men's basketball team beat the Pitt-Titusville Panthers 77-58 Sunday afternoon on the Titusville, Pa. campus in their NJCAA Region XX basketball game.

Potomac State used an efficient offensive attack to open the game and their size and strength to wear down Pitt-Titusville. Cortney Walton collected an offensive rebound eight minutes into the game and the resulting basket pushed the Catamount lead to double-digits for the first time. At the close of the first half, Potomac State enjoyed a comfortable 41-26 lead.

The second half was more even than the first. Potomac State outscored the Panthers 36-32 leading to the 77-58 final score.

Breland Walton lead all scorers with 19 points on 8 of 11 field goal shooting and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. He also grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. Cortney Walton (13 points), Corey Allison (12 points) and DeAngelo Clendenin (10 points) also scored double figures for the Catamounts.

Potomac State improves to 4-3. Their next game is at home on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 p.m. when they host Westmoreland County Community College.
