Winchester, VA- Cooper Polcovich delivered a strong effort on the mound going the distance to propel Potomac State to a split with Shenandoah on Saturday afternoon.
Potomac State won the opener 13-3 and dropped the nightcap 14-4.
Polcovich was stellar in his outing, striking out seven and allowing just two earned runs.
Chris Harbert led the offense with two hits including a grand slam to drive in a total of six runs.
Bryce Suters added three hits, all doubles to the cause.
In game two, a twelve-run inning propelled the Hornets to a 14-4 win.
Reilly Bubb and Nik Rubendall lead PSC with two hits apiece.
