Potomac State splits pair with Cecil

Keyser, WV- Ben McDougal gave Potomac State a stellar effort on the mound as the Catamounts rolled to a 10-0 win in the opening game of a twin bill at Golden Park on Sunday.

The sophomore left-hander allowed just two hits and no runs in the 5-inning run ruled complete game effort.  McDougal struck out seven to improve to 3-1.

Maddox Brooks and Reilly Bubb each had a pair of hits for the Catamounts.

In game two Cecil scored six runs in the opening frame and went on to win 9-5 to split the doubleheader.

Baily Shindle drove in three runs for the Seahawks with a double and solo home run.

Bubb had a pair of hits for PSC.

The Catamounts, 8-9 will next host Garret College for a pair of games Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
