Hagerstown, MD- The 2021 NJCAA Division I Region XX Baseball Tournament is scheduled to take place May 7-9, 2021.  This year's tournament will take place at Municipal Stadium, located at 274 E. Memorial Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

This year's tournament will feature four of the top JUCO baseball teams on the east coast. 

WVU Potomac State comes in as the number one seed as a result of a doubleheader sweep over Harford Community College and a split with Hagerstown Community College.

By no means does that top seed mean easy sailing for the Catamounts.  Harford Community College is the reigning Region XX Champion, and in fact has won four straight titles dating back to 2016, (there was no tourney in 2020).

Hagerstown Community College enters the tournament with the most wins at 40 and ran off a 25-game winning streak earlier this season that was ended by Potomac State on April 23rd.

Monroe College is the default #3 seed as part on the Covid-19 shuffling of postseason tournaments this year.  Monroe made back-to-back JUCO World Series appearances in 2018 and 2019 as they won the Eastern District Title.

The Mustangs are 30-5-1 this season and will open the tournament on Friday May 7th with an 11:00 a.m. game with host team Hagerstown.

Harford and Potomac State will play directly after the opening game at approximately 2:30 p.m.

ALL GAMES WILL START AT ABOVE TIMES OR 30 MINUTES AFTER CONCLUSION OF PREVIOUS GAME. 

TOURNAMENT COVID-19 ADJUSTMENTS:

Spectators should not have access to student-athletes during the competition

Spectators will not be allowed in the area from dugout to dugout.

Social distancing and masking should be practiced throughout the entire event.

Concessions will NOT be available during the tournament.
