Bel Air, Md. – Braeden Fausnaught and Marty Neal united to toss seven scoreless innings, leading the Harford Community College to an 11-0 victory over the Potomac State, Sunday afternoon at the Harford Sports Complex.

Fausnaught had six strike outs while surrendering just three hits in 4 2/3 innings of work.  Neal came on in the fifth and closed the inning with two PSC runners on base.  The freshman righthander went the rest of the way, striking out a pair of Catamounts to earn his third save of the season.

Jimmy Nixon's RBI-double and Nolan Charlton's RBI-single got the offense going for HCC in the second inning.  Reyce Curnane hit a two-run home run to right center in the fourth after a Potomac State error with two outs allowed the inning to continue.

Harford pulled away in the sixth, loading the bases with nobody out. An RBI-groundout followed by a pair of walks loaded the bases back up for Nixon, who hit a fly ball over the center field fence for a grand slam.

Austin Chavis went 2-2 with a single and double for PSC.

Harford improves to 34-5 on the season. Potomac State drops to 24-6.  The Catamounts play again on Wednesday at Glenville State.
