Catamounts win streak ends at ten in split with Catonsville

Keyser, WV- An eight run first inning from CCBC Catonsville was too much to overcome as the Cardinals downed Potomac State 8-4 in game two today at Golden Park.

Joel Spishock homered and drove in four runs for PSC in the loss. Austin Martin had three hits, and Austin Chavis added a pair of doubles.

In the opener Chavis went deep for Potomac State for his first home run of the season as the Catamounts won 8-5.

Brett Whiteman pitched 6 1/3 innings, striking out nine to pick up the win and improve to 3-0.

Pete Costigan had two singles and an RBI, while Cole Miller drove in two with a pair of singles.

Potomac State is now 15-5 and will play host to Hagerstown Community College (21-7) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Golden Park.
