Rogers leads PSC over Southern Maryland

Catamounts up unbeaten streak to six

KEYSER, W.Va. — Leondre Rogers led three players in double figures with 18 points and 12 players scored as Potomac State defeated the College of Southern Maryland 83-63 at home on Sunday to remain undefeated through six games.

Rogers made five baskets including two three-pointers and he was perfect on all six of his free throws. Breland Walton, with six baskets and a free throw, added 13 points and Ramone Williams added 10 points on four field goals and two foul shots.

 

Camden White added nine points, and James Moore, Cortney Walton and Calvin Wilder each scored eight for Potomac State, which led by 15, 48-33, at halftime.

Darnell Taylor led Southern Maryland (1-4) and all scorers with 21 points and Jerome Savoy added 11.

 

Potomac State (6-0) plays Mercyhurst Northeast on Friday in McHenry as part of Garrett College’s David K. Martin Tournament.
