Catamount Crossing - Student-Athlete Spotlight - Jaron Summers

The WVU Potomac State College Athletic Department has launched a new student-athlete spotlight, "Catamount Crossing." We will be celebrating student-athletes from different communities within our department. The focus for April is the Class of 2020.

I am colorblind.

Favorite PSC memory (non-athletic):

Going to class every day and hanging out with my friends.

Favorite PSC memory (athletic):

Overtime win against Hudson Valley and having scored two goals.

Favorite part about being a PSC student-athlete:

Having the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love!

What has playing at PSC meant to you:

It has meant a lot because it provides the opportunity to move on and play at the NCAA level.

After PSC:

I joined the Army National Guard; I leave for Basic Training May 13th. I also plan to continue my education to become a teacher and continue playing lacrosse at the next level.
