Potomac State College spring sports suspended through April 3rd

KEYSER, W.Va. – WVU Potomac State College is actively monitoring the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID_19) to ensure the safety of the institution's students and employees.

On Thursday Potomac State College and the PSC athletic department, under the guidance of West Virginia University; suspended all athletic events, contests, team travel and recruiting travel. The suspension of athletic events was scheduled to last through March 22nd with daily reevaluations.

The National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association elected to suspend all athletic competitions beginning Saturday, March 14 through Friday, April 3rd. The NJCAA Board of Regents will meet on April 3rd to determine if further action is necessary. During the no contest period practice standards are determined by the individual colleges.
